As the owner and director of Guided Wellness Counseling, it is my goal to ensure that every patient receives compassionate and individualized treatment using a creative and mindful approach. 

I understand sometimes life isn't easy and at times, we all need a little help.  Asking for help is brave and is the first step to promoting positive life change. I find the greatest rewards from my work come from guiding clients to explore ways to identify and resolve negative thought patterns and behaviors that will allow them to make the changes they seek. I believe we all need someone to talk to that will truly listen and accept us without judgement. I provide a warm, accepting environment, allowing clients to be who they are, and begin therapy at a pace that is most comfortable to them. Sometimes it seems easier to hang on to negative parts of our lives and ourselves, but in order to be truly free, you must learn to set old burdens free, and start living the life you deserve.

My treatment approach tends to be very eclectic, and I use a variety of individualized, age appropriate, and creative approaches to help my clients achieve their therapeutic goals. My experience includes working with adults, teens, and children during various stages of the life cycle, and with divorce, single-parenting, grief, women's issues, mood disorders, teen adjustment, ADHD, and chronic illness, among other challenges.

My background includes experience in the school, hospital, and mental health settings both as a provider and administrator.

I believe everyone needs a place they can talk openly without the fear of judgement to make positive life changes that move clients towards a hopeful future. I use a blend of therapeutic approaches to provide individualized treatment with a mindful approach. 

My practice includes children, adolescents, and adult individual therapy, as well as marriage and family counseling.
